We are Yeeld, an Urban Vertical Farming business growing fresh produce, delivered each morning to local customers.
Yeeld was started by Doug Barr, an ex city trader with a passion for locally grown food. We realised that the future of fruit and veg will be one of complete transparency, hyperlocal growing and supreme freshness all rolled into an on-demand model.
Our microgreens are grown inside a controlled environment unit guaranteeing crisp, fresh and tasty produce.
We harvest early every morning, delivering the finest quality produce to local businesses and customers.
We only sell our produce within London, ensuring we reduce both the food miles and delivery time along with increasing the freshness of the produce.

Doug Barr - Founder
My name is Doug, I founded Yeeld in the Autumn of 2018 to help solve issues around inefficient food production.
I feel strongly about the need for reliable, hyperlocal produce, grown specifically for consumption by local business and customers.
Prior to starting Yeeld I worked in the City of London as a Commodities Trader, where I learned about the importance of supply and demand in the commodities driven world we live. I swapped Oil for food, still a commodity......just tastes better.
